Papa's Fish and Chips

One of Britain's most popular fish and chip restaurants, Papa's have been frying award winning fish and chips since 1966. Now four generations on from the restaurants founding, the philosophies of Mr Papa are still the core pillar for their service.

Throughout the seventies Papa worked to perfect his secret batter recipe, which he finally perfected in 1973, and the recipe is still used today!

In a BBC show Papa's were named Britain’s Best Fish & Chips following scrutinous judging by the public and Michelin Star Chefs, so this is high praise indeed.

Papa's source all of their high quality ingredients locally to ensure their food is as close to as it was in 1966. Papa's are also committed to environmental protection so future generations can enjoy their delicious fish and chips, which is why they ensure all their Haddock & Cod is MSC Accredited (Marine Conservation Society), so they know its been sustainably sourced.
