The Bistro

Nicola Brooksbank, co-director, began her journey as a history teacher and member of Slimming World. After discovering minimal eateries were catering to her needs, in 2019, she moved into the world of hospitality and established The Bar & Bistro Kitchen.

The menu dishes are all homemade and inclusive, with food options for everyone to enjoy, from those with vegan and vegetarian diets to those with gluten, nut, and dairy allergens.

A friendly space enjoyed by visitors and residents alike, the team has made the venue warm and welcoming. A member of Dog-friendly Lincolnshire, all well-behaved fluffy friends are welcome too. And they even have a bistro puppy menu to enjoy! Cyclist friendly, they have a secure lock-up ready to be used by those wanting refreshments when on a bike ride in the area.

A social hotspot, they also host karaoke, bingo, music & poetry, quiz, and family movie nights. They're also home to the Card and Craft, Homework, Doggy Pals and Backgammon clubs.

Outside catering

Caring about the community, they specialise in providing nutritious and hot 'meals-on-wheels' for members of the community who may not be able to get out. All the delivery staff are DBS checked and provide a friendly face. Everyone’s spoilt for choice, with ever-changing monthly menus and weekly packages.

They serve local businesses with bespoke meeting lunches and staff appreciation boxes.

They also provide Frozen meals that are slim-friendly and made by their batch maker. Each meal is low in fat and created using fresh local produce. All are available for collection in-store or on delivery.

Offering Bake Services, the creative team can help design a sweet treat fit for any occasion, from celebration cakes to muffins, cake cards, giant cookies, chocolate smash boxes, and more.

The venue is also available to hire, catering up to 50 people, with a wide range of food packages to suit differing needs.
