Opened in 2007, Doddington's award-winning Farm Shop was born out of a passion for good quality, seasonal, local food.
You’ll find fruit and vegetables with zero food miles freshly picked from the fabulous Kitchen Garden (back in production after a 50-year absence), beef in the Butchery is often from their very own herd of Lincolnshire Red Cattle along with an abundance of other produce from local suppliers.
Their full to bursting Deli counter celebrates the fantastic cheeses produced locally, as well as some from further afield, fabulous scotch eggs from The Handmade Scotch Egg Company and a range of wonderful pies and snacks to go.
Doddington has expanded its Cook frozen ready meals range from 5 freezers to 14! They are now the proud stockists of a fantastic selection of tasty frozen mains, tempting sides, popular desserts, impressive canapés, delicious party food, healthy children’s meals and low-calorie options.
Their Hambleton Farms Butchery counter stocks quality local and rare-breed meats traditionally reared and properly hung to promote the best flavour. Sausages, local game, home-made pork pies and own cured bacon are also in plentiful supply. The butchery has recently had a makeover and improvements include a special dry ageing fridge, new display counters and a larger range of products.
Their cakes, pastries, scones, tarts and biscuits baked daily on-site are a firm favourite with locals and coupled with their daily deliveries of bread from local bakeries, Welbeck and Welbourne, have made for a bustling bakery section. For the home-baker Doddington stocks ingredients, decorations and accessories galore many of which are not easily found elsewhere and a selection of flours that are wind-milled traditionally at the local Maud Foster Mill in Boston.
Stock up on your larder essentials (and those not-so-essentials) from their extensive range of chutneys, jams, pickles, pesto, sauces, pasta, chocolates, sweet treats and crisps. Enough to inspire the most jaded of cooks. Their customers’ favourites include Doddington Estate Honey, Doddington recipe marmalade and their very own Apple Juice made using the apples from the orchard.
