Address: Green Cottage Tea Room, 10/11 Vickers Lane, Louth, LN11 9PJ
Established in 2018 by Marie Blood, The Green Cottage Tea Room is the only vegetarian and vegan eatery in Louth.
Truly a taste of Lincolnshire, everything produced at the tearoom is homemade, such as the cakes, soups, plant-based sandwiches, jacket potato, vegan platter, plant-based burger, afternoon tea, and more. The only food served that is not homemade is the fresh bread that is bought locally in Louth. And there’s something for everyone to enjoy here, with a great selection of worldly hot beverages.
Experienced with running businesses, Marie used to have a business on steep hill in Lincoln, a decade ago, and due to missing it she re-established her business in Louth.
The building that Green Cottage Tea Room resides in was originally used as a butchery for approximately half a century. Restored beautifully, the tearoom kept the striking original features, such as exposed black beams and brick walls.
