You'll experience a fantastic perspective over Brayford Pool, as you take the glass elevator up to Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill, firstly stepping into a beautiful rooftop bar area with panoramic views, pass through here to the room behind and you'll find a sublime restaurant with expansive views over the city, extending to the hilltop area of Lincoln. There's plenty to enjoy, with an array of cocktails to choose from, an extensive food menu and fantastic views to take in.
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill is set within the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln. Near to the city centre, on the Quayside of Brayford Pool, the restaurant and hotel has magnificent views across both the marina and the city.
It’s the perfect spot to soak in views of the castle and cathedral, escape to a relaxing space above the city centre and enjoy delicious, seasonal food and drink.
When visiting, we started with trying new additions to the mocktail offering, ordering a Strawberry & Rhubarb Spritz and a Cucumber & Elderflower Spritz off the seasonal cocktails list - these were very refreshing and made a nice change to usual soft drinks.
While drinking these, warm baked sourdough with lashings of butter and Martini Olives provided a lovely snack for starters.
For mains we delved into a Fillet Steak with garlic butter, fricassée of woodland mushrooms, confit potato and buttered leaf spinach.
Exquisitely presented, the steak, which is finest quality aged grass-fed Campbell Brothers’ beef, was cooked to preference and to perfection.
We also ordered a new seasonal addition to the menu – Classic Macaroni Cheese with aged Italian hard cheese, mozzarella and added cured bacon.
This deliciously rich and cheesy pasta dish is a great alternative to the abundance of meat and seafood options on the menu.
A visit here would make the perfect treat – the venue is decadent, the food is delicious, and the restaurant offers something a little different to elsewhere in the city! Any occasion here would be special, and the menu is certain to please, as it offers meat, seafood, vegetarian and vegan dishes.
